Portrait of Tim Monzures

I build production AI. I lead engineering teams. I care whether the economics work.

Apple scale. Solo-founder speed. Wharton MBA.

My next full-time role: leading teams that ship dependable AI products and growing the organization behind them.

At Apple, a few seconds can cost millions.

My team deployed production software running 24/7 on manufacturing lines. Reliability, throughput, and cost were daily engineering decisions.

System

~1M/day

Devices supported daily.

Team

25

Engineers in the US, China, and India. Opened the India site; developed engineering managers.

Economics

$100M+

Cumulative savings across several iPhone generations. In-house test systems, shorter cycles, fewer stations.

I led our technical deployment strategy and worked with Instrument Engineering and Operations to put it into production.

Attrove. From first commit to paid use.

I took the same production discipline into workplace AI. Built Attrove from architecture to paid use, including sales, support, and on-call.

Test the decision.

The AI said we owed a reply, then told us to chase one. I fixed the contradiction and added a regression test.

How I tested it

Labeled evaluation sets, regression gates and confidence checks. Separate tests tracked who should act and when the system should stay quiet.

Building something hard? Let’s talk.

VP, Head or Director of Engineering, or the right CTO role. San Francisco, in person preferred.

Attrove remains available as a working portfolio. I’m no longer developing it. My next role will have my full focus.
